David Moyes will beat an immediate path to the door of new Everton CEO Angus Kinnear as he looks for answers over the Toffees’ summer plans.
The Scot has been growing increasingly frustrated at the vacuum which has existed at the top of the club ahead of the new appointee joining the Merseyside club, as he seeks guidance on his spending limits during the close season.

The Scot wants the final say on signings

Moyes wants to know his budget for players and how the relationship between him and new recruitment guru Nicky Hammond will work.
Hammond has been brought in as a ‘special advisor’ to Kinnear after leaving Leeds United.
Ideally, the Toffees’ chief would have liked his own team - Brighton’s David Weir would have been high on his wish-list - although whether the 54-year-old would quit the Amex is a subject for debate.
But Moyes is in a strong position, given Everton’s rise up the Premier League table, and he has the overwhelming backing of the supporters.
He would be seeking the final say on any transfer incomings and wants his own men - rather than those decided upon by someone else.
The previous two incumbents as director of football - Kevin Thelwell and Marcel Brands - hardly covered themselves in glory with Everton falling foul of the Profit and Sustainability rules and being hit with a two-point penalty.

John Stones is emerging as a key target

With the opening of the new stadium just over two months away, Moyes wants to head into Bramley Moore Dock with a team capable of competing with those at the top, rather than the bottom.
And, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, he has his eyes on several players that he believes could make the club far more competitive.
The most interesting potential recruit would be Manchester City’s John Stones.
It was Moyes who took a £3m gamble on the rookie centre-half when he plucked him out of Barnsley as a teenager.
After turning a monster £47m profit on the defender when he was offloaded to Manchester City three years later, the player has just 12 months to go on his current deal.
Stones is only 30 years old but has struggled this season with a foot and hamstring injury that has restricted him to just five appearances.
However, his prior injury record is good and while Manchester City’s wage structure is far higher than that on offer by the Toffees, a long-term deal would offer the player more security as he enters the later stages of his career.
Moyes Also Keen on Two Players Currently at West Ham
Tomas Soucek and Evan Ferguson are targets
Tomas Soucek in action for West Ham United
West Ham’s Tomas Soucek is another on the radar - although he has two seasons left to run on the deal he signed 18 months ago with the east-enders.
During his first tenure, Moyes used Marouane Fellaini to great effect and Soucek possesses the same ability to arrive late in the box, offering a significant goal threat.
Soucek, however, remains a core ingredient of the team at Graham Potter’s disposal and Everton would face a battle to land the Czech Republic international.
One area that Moyes will definitely want to address is up front where Beto has managed 12 goals this season, despite a lack of regular service.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s never-ending battle to remain fit means that Moyes cannot depend on the 28-year-old, even if he signs a new deal.
That leaves him with a decision to make over the future England international - one that could be made more palatable if Brighton decide to cash in on Evan Ferguson.
The Seagulls sent the forward on loan to West Ham but he has started just one game since January and appears set to return to the south coast at the end of the campaign.
Moyes, however, has no problem trying to return players to their former glories and the Republic of Ireland international offers him an alternative should the club not be able to tie up a deal with Calvert-Lewin.
