Nikola Jokic's Change in Physical Appearance is Turning Heads

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are on the verge of playoff elimination.

Denver currently sits with a 3-2 deficit in the second round of the NBA playoffs. They're facing the Oklahoma City Thunder in a matchup between the two top MVP candidates, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.

While Jokic has been phenomenal for the Nuggets throughout the postseason, Denver has struggled to find an answer for arguably the deepest team in the NBA.

In the Nuggets' recent 112-105 loss to the Thunder in Game 5, Jokic posted 44 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.

Amid the playoffs, as Jokic and the Nuggets are fighting to advance to the Western Conference Finals, the Denver center took a side quest.

Nikola Jokic has posted historic numbers throughout the season.

As he looks to earn his fourth MVP award, Jokic has averaged 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game. Jokic stands at top three in the league in each of those statistical categories.
