Former Indiana Pacers' Guard Lance Stephenson Makes Massive Career Announcement

Lance Stephenson played for eight NBA teams during his ten-season career and had some solid years with the Indiana Pacers in the mid-2010s. Known for his flashy play style and on-court antics, he became a meme in 2014 for blowing in LeBron James' ear during a playoff battle.

While he was never an All-Star and never won a title, his willingness to go head-to-head with the biggest star in the league quickly endeared him to fans, and he played for the Pacers in three different stints.

Three seasons removed from his last NBA appearance, Stephenson is back in professional basketball, joining the Big3 league.

With the Pacers, Stephenson averaged 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds. He last played for them in 2022, suiting up for 40 games.

Several great players and a handful of Hall of Famers have played in rapper Ice Cube's league, which is broadcast on CBS and social media.

Stephenson has a number of former NBA teammates currently playing in the Big3. Kemba Walker is on the Triplets, Gerald Green is on the Rig Hands, Jordan Crawford is on the Riot, and Mario Chalmers is on the 305 alongside Michael Beasley.

The Big3 promotes itself as a viable professional league, and its star-studded rosters and coaching staff certainly back that claim up, although it is not a pipeline to the NBA. Stephenson's NBA career is long over, and regardless of the success he has in Ice Cube's league, it will stay that way.
