NBA Draft analyst guarantees Dylan Harper will go second in the upcoming draft

Rutgers standout guard Dylan Harper is expected to be selected second overall in the upcoming NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, who reportedly have no plans to trade the pick.

While Duke’s Cooper Flagg is unanimously projected to be the number one overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, the rest of the draft order remains far less predictable as the event draws near.

However, according to NBA Draft expert Jonathan Givony, the second overall pick may already be set.

"Dylan Harper is going to be a number two pick in the draft I'm 99.9% sure about it," Givony said on ESPN’s NBA Today.

He also noted that the San Antonio Spurs are excited about the opportunity to draft Harper and are not exploring any trades involving the second pick.

"They are not pursuing trades from what we're hearing," Givony revealed. "They think that they can play Harper together with Steph Castle and De'Aaron Fox in the same backcourt."

The 6'6" guard averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists this season at Rutgers, and is widely regarded as the top guard in this draft class thanks to his elite skill set, shot creation, and scoring ability.
