There's an expectation that the Milwaukee Bucks will make significant roster changes involving Giannis Antetokounmpo over the summer. After a disappointing first-round exit, many have started speculating Antetokounmpo's future in Milwaukee.
Some believe the Greek Freak will request a trade. A report from Shams Charania of ESPN revealed that Antetokounmpo is "open" to exploring a future outside the Bucks. However, his future with the team that drafted him is still up for discussion.
But that hasn't stopped mock trades from coming out. CBS Sports' Sam Quinn proposed a three-team trade centered around the 2021 Finals MVP with the New Orleans Pelicans and the San Antonio Spurs. In his mock trade, Antetokounmpo would end up being teammates with Victor Wembanyama.

Quinn proposed that the Bucks would send Antetokounmpo to San Antonio. In exchange, the Spurs would send Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes, Keldon Johnson, 2025 No. 2 overall pick and the 2026 first-round pick of the Pelicans.
The Pelicans would end up with the No. 14 pick and 2027 unprotected first-round pick of the Atlanta Hawks.
Landing the second pick of the 2025 NBA Draft would be a significant deal for the Bucks. The Spurs are rumored to draft Dylan Harper, and that would kickstart Milwaukee's rebuild if Antetokounmpo leaves. They'll also get Castle, the reigning Rookie of the Year.
That means two key pieces will be on Milwaukee's hands if the mock trade comes to fruition.
"For the Bucks, this would be a monster package. Harper has a chance to be a star. Castle, obviously, has a chance to be a star, and his limitations as a shooter are less severe in Milwaukee, where he wouldn't be playing alongside Fox," Quinn wrote.
However, the Spurs aren't willing to trade the No. 2 pick, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
“The San Antonio Spurs are signaling to teams that they are very excited about the opportunity to draft Harper. They are not pursuing draft trades, from what we’re hearing,” Givony reported.
Still, Quinn's proposed trade idea is a win-win for both teams. The Spurs will get an All-Star frontcourt in Antetokounmpo and Wembanyama. The Bucks, meanwhile, can start their rebuild process.
