Ex-Knicks star roasted for his post about Kylie Jenner

Latrell Sprewell appears to have let the intrusive thoughts win this week.

The retired former New York Knicks All-Star Sprewell was in attendance at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., for Monday’s second-round playoff Game 4 between the Knicks and the Boston Celtics. Also in attendance was Kylie Jenner, the famous member of the Kardashian clan. Jenner was there with her sister Kendall and her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, the award-winning actor.

At one point in the evening, Sprewell posed for a picture with Jenner. Sprewell posted the photo to his Instagram page and included the caption, “OMG Kylie is even more beautiful in person” … along with a drooling emoji.

Sprewell’s caption, particularly his choice of emoji, got him roasted big-time over social media. Take a look at a sampling below.

Sprewell, 54, is exactly twice the age of Jenner, 27. He was already a multi-time NBA All-Star before Jenner was even born, so a post like that one was always going to get him clowned.

Nevertheless, this just goes to show how Madison Square Garden, especially during the playoffs, is always a who’s who of famous figures (from former NBA stars to A-list celebrities). Sprewell himself, who played for the Knicks from 1999-2003, has been a regular at the arena ever since reconciling with Knicks owner James Dolan.
