Kylie Jenner went viral on the internet after she attended Game 4 of the Knicks vs. Celtics series in New York's Madison Square Garden. She attended the game with her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, sister Kendall Jenner, and close friend Jordyn Woods. The Knicks took a commanding 3-1 lead in the series in that game before the Celtics brought it to 3-2 in Game 5. Latrell Sprewell, the former Warriors and Knicks player, also attended the game and had the chance to meet Jenner in the stands.
Posting a picture with the TV star, the Warriors legend wrote, “OMG Kylie is even more beautiful in person" with a drooling emoji at the end of the statement. This reaction set the internet on fire as fans felt the NBA legend got too frank with the use of that emoji. In perspective, Sprewell is 54 years old while Jenner is 27, exactly half his age. Nonetheless, the former NBA star did not hesitate to post that reaction, and fans roasted him for it.
"That emoji is crazy", wrote an X user, pointing at the candid nature of the emoji.
"Crazy use of that emoji, respect Unc", wrote another fan online, referring to Sprewell as 'Unc' due to his age.
"Calm down Spree - sheesh", wrote a Warriors fan, claiming the NBA veteran's reaction was a bit out of hand.
"Unc DROOLING on the timeline and he gonna claim he was hacked", said an NBA fan who predicted the veteran will claim his account was hacked after the backlash he will receive for his comment.
"Eww why did he drool like that," wrote an X user who seemed disgusted about Sprewell's reaction to meeting Jenner.
"We need to start revoking emoji privileges", wrote another X user.
Kylie Jenner's Boyfriend Timothee Chalamet Attends Game 5 In Boston
Seeing the reactions of the couple during the game, it became increasingly clear that it is Timothee Chalamet who is the bigger and more enthusiastic Knicks fan among the two. Therefore, while Jenner embraced her vacation mode after Game 4, Chalamet travelled to Boston to watch the Knicks lose Game 5 on the road.
Having grown up 15 minutes away from Madison Square Garden (MSG), Chalamet has been an avid fan of the Knicks since long before he got famous. This season, he has gone out of his way on multiple occasions to watch or attend Knicks games. He even missed the Met Gala just because he wanted to watch the Knicks play on his iPad.
Chalamet now finds himself among the likes of Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, and other celebrity Knicks fans on regular occasions. After the stinging Game 5 loss in Boston, Chalamet took to Instagram and posted "6" on his story, indicating the Knicks will win this series in Game 6 at home in MSG. Do you agree with his prediction? Or will the Celtics force a Game 7 in Boston? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
