Manchester United could be without up to seven players when they make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Friday night.

However, going into the game, the Red Devils could be without up to seven players at Stamford Bridge, whereas Chelsea could miss four names.

Man United injury news

Firstly, there are three United players who are in doubt for the game on Friday, the first being Leny Yoro, who had to be taken off during the West Ham game due to an ankle injury which is connected to the issue he had at the start of the season.

Amorim said after the game: “He had that problem at the beginning of the season. We hope it's not too serious. I don't want to say too much, but maybe it's not a big deal.”

Secondly, Toby Collyer is dealing with a small issue in his leg. He is expected to be fit for the Chelsea match and could start to allow the first team players to rest after taking part in training on Wednesday.

Ayden Heaven is also a doubt for Friday. He is recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered last month which has kept him out for around three weeks. He should at least be fit for the game against Spurs next week.

Diogo Dalot will miss the Chelsea game due to a calf issue that he suffered two weeks ago. Amorim said last week: “Dalot is doing everything to recover, and I think they will push now to be available.”

Furthermore, Matthijs De Ligt won’t be available against Chelsea, and will likely be in doubt for the Europa League final as he aims to recover from a knee injury. Heaven, Dalot and De Ligt were among the players who missed training on Wednesday.

Joshua Zirkzee and Lisandro Martinez have both been ruled out for the rest of the season, they are working to make a return in next campaign, but Martinez could be out for much longer due to the severity of his issue.

Chelsea injury news

They are going to miss four players on Friday night due to injury however, which could cause them a problem at the striker position with Nicolas Jackson suspended from their last match after seeing a red card against Newcastle United last weekend. Marc Guiu has been ruled out as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury, he likely would have been in line to replace Jackson up top.

Christopher Nkunku is also out, meaning that Enzo Maresca will likely have to play someone out of position up front, whether that be the likes of Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke or Cole Palmer as a false nine.

Omari Kellyman and Wesley Fofana are both out for the remainder of the season. Kellyman has been dealing with a hamstring injury all season long, whereas Fofana was ruled out with a hamstring injury in early April.
