Newcastle United wag shares this positive eight-word message as star prepares for Champions…

Newcastle United WAG Alexandra Munger has again been sharing the love on social media - as her other half, Fabian Schar, prepares to go to battle for the Magpies.

Newcastle United Carabao Cup winning hero Fabian Schar and his partner Alexandra Munger have been settling into life as a pair on Tyneside in the last few months.

Swiss national Munger only recently revealed to the world that she was moving in with long time, long distance other half Schar on social media. And, judging by her social media, it appears as if she’s loving her new life on Tyneside, having planted roots at the defender’s Jesmond home.

While Schar is in the depths of preparation to go to battle and capture second-placed Arsenal’s spot in the Premier League on Sunday, Munger has been sharing some positive thoughts about life on her Instagram account.

Posting on her story, she captioned a positive life message with a loving emoji. The post stated: “Someone feels less alone because of your kindness.” It can be seen below.

Now, I think it will be hard to find anyone who will be against that kind of message, especially in the current climate, with people struggling everywhere. And it’s no surprise it was a Newcastle United WAG sharing the news, given the wives and girlfriends of the players, unlike at other Premier League clubs, are the epitome of positivity.

Who is Fabian Schar’s girlfriend, Alexandra Munger?

Alexandra Munger is the girlfriend of Switzerland and Newcastle United defender Schar. And as mentioned in the above piece, she has recently relocated to Tyneside to live with the Carabao Cup hero, who she has been in a relationship with since before he joined the Magpies. Schar joined United in the summer of 2018, coming in on a cut-price deal from Deportivo La Coruna.

Munger, like Schar, is an academic, being a Master of Law, while also currently studying for a PhD from the University of Zurich.

Arsenal v Newcastle United - second place up for grabs

Things are getting super tight at the top end of the Premier League - and Newcastle United are right in the mix.

Five teams will take the Champions League places directly via league position - while another will be allocated to the winner of Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final next week. The Magpies currently sit third in the top flight table, although that could alter before they next play on Sunday, with many of the other horses in the race riding before the clash at the Emirates in the evening.

Importantly, though, should the Magpies claim all three points against the Gunners - which won’t be easy by any means - and then win at home to Everton seven days later, they are guaranteed to claim their highest Premier League finish since 1996/97, which would be second. It would be the third time they’ve done so in the Premier League era, having also narrowly missed out on the title in 1995/96.

All is not lost, however, should they not win down in North London, as three points the following week should still be enough to see them home, due to the fact Aston Villa are three points worse off with a considerably worse goal difference, and Nottingham Forest would need to win both of their contests to even consider getting above United come the end of the season.
