West Ham need multiple additions this summer if they are to avoid a relegation battle this season.
Graham Potter’s appointment at the Hammers is yet to be a success after a sub-par start.
However, West Ham’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United on the weekend has renewed hope that he could be the man to lead the squad forward.
New signings are still expected despite the Hammers’ PSR issues going into the summer.
Now, the East London side has identified Raphael Onyedika as a potential target in the transfer window.

West Ham no doubt need a midfielders this summer.
Lucas Paqueta has recently been linked away from the Hammers, and his potential departure would leave a gigantic hole in the side.
Therefore, according to The West Ham Way (13 May), the ExWHUEmployee has reported that the East London club are pursuing Onyedika
“Another player from Club Brugge who is a potential target again with a lot of competition, is Nigerian intentional defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast.
“It is still early days but the club are currently in the process of getting the key targets identified ahead of what is anticipated to be a very busy summer transfer window.”
Onyedika has impressed in Belgium and is a current Nigerian international.

West Ham must back Potter this summer
As the days pass, it looks more and more likely that Potter will stay at West Ham this summer.
If so, then the Hammers must fully back their manager this summer.
While PSR will no doubt be an issue, any incoming funds should be made immediately available to Potter to upgrade the team wherever he sees fit.
However, pressure will almost immediately be on the Englishman, as if his new signings play poorly, the crowd will immediately turn against him, and he will end up with the same fate as Julen Lopetegui.
