Jalen Brunson kept his comments brief after fouling out in Game 5, simply saying, "I'm not even gonna say anything," following a frustrating stretch of five fouls in the third quarter.
Jalen Brunson entered the third quarter of the New York Knicks' 127-102 loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden with no fouls, but he was taken out with 2:45 left in the quarter after picking up five fouls.

"Five fouls in one quarter? I don't know what you want me to say to that," Brunson said in the post-game conference. "I'm not even gonna say anything. I'm sorry."
Coach Tom Thibodeau put Brunson back in to start the fourth quarter, but Brunson only lasted until the 7:19 mark before committing his sixth foul and fouling out.
When the TD Garden jumbotron showed Brunson sitting on the bench after fouling out, he gave a sarcastic smile and waved to the crowd.
Brunson finished the game with 22 points and six assists.
Game 6 is scheduled for Friday at Madison Square Garden, with a Game 7 — if needed — set for Monday in Boston.
