Rangers midfielder Nico Raskin has been linked with a move to Premier League duo Aston Villa and Leeds United.
The 24-year-old has taken his game from strength to strength this season and has even become a Belgium international.
He is among the first names on the team sheet for Barry Ferguson and was a regular starter when Philippe Clement was in charge as well.

Gers ready to offer Raskin new deal to fend off suitors
According to TEAMtalk on 14 May, Gers are fighting a battle to retain the services of their star midfielder.
It’s understood that both Leeds and Villa could make serious bids in order to lure him away from Ibrox.

Even though his current deal does not run out until 2027, the Light Blues believe that’s their best way to keep him at the club.
They also want to protect his market value for what could potentially be a blockbuster sale sometime down the line.

Rangers have to convince Raskin to stay for at least another season
To retain Raskin amidst interest from Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Leeds United, Rangers must adopt a multifaceted strategy beyond just offering a new contract.
However, financial incentives alone may not suffice for the 24-year-old Belgium international, who has become a key starter under Ferguson.
The Ibrox outfit should emphasise a clear pathway for Raskin’s development, ensuring he remains central to their tactical setup while offering opportunities to compete in European competitions, which could enhance his international profile.
Additionally, the club could leverage the ongoing 49ers Enterprises-led takeover to promise investment in the squad, making the team more competitive in the Scottish Premiership and beyond.
Building a supportive environment with fan engagement initiatives and showcasing long-term ambition could also convince Raskin to stay at Ibrox, prioritising legacy over a premature Premier League move.
