Davide Ancelotti will find out this week if he is to become a permanent addition to dad Carlo's Brazil backroom team.

The Rangers manager target is in the running to become the new boss at Ibrox, being widely tipped to succeed Barry Ferguson, although the former Ibrox captain cannot be discounted from staying on .

Outgoing Real Madrid gaffer Carlo has agreed to take over the Selecao and the Italian and his staff are set to bank a mega £5million bonus if they guide the five-time World Cup winners to a sixth triumph in Canada, USA and Mexico next year.

Now Brazilian FA chief Rodrigo Caetano is in Spain to thrash out the finer details of Ancelotti's appointment, including what the rest of his coaching team will look like..
