Real Madrid look set not to disrupt Manchester United defender Leny Yoro this summer as they push ahead to sign AFC Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen.

Last summer, United and Real were embroiled in a transfer battle to sign Yoro after he was compared to his compatriot Raphael Varane. In what was seen as a coup at the time, the teenager chose to move to Old Trafford instead of the Bernabeu.

This month, there has been attempts from Spain to unsettle Yoro as a report from Defensa Central claimed that the 19-year-old was regretting his decision to move to United and was instructing his agents to make a move to Real happen. Los Blancos, who look set to be managed by Xabi Alonso next season, have remained on the hunt for a central defender and now look set to focus their attention away from Yoro.

According to several reports, led by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Huijsen looks destined to move to the Spanish capital. On Thursday morning, he reported that Huijsen's camp are flying to Madrid to finalise a deal for their client.

It is understood that Madrid are willing to pay his £50m release clause in three installments and commit the 20-year-old to a five-year contract at the Bernabeu. The journalist also claims that Premier League clubs were interested in keeping the Spanish international in England.

However, the defender gave priority to Real and now the deal looks as good as done. For United, this is the dream scenario as they could not afford to lose Yoro considering his potential.

Ruben Amorim is currently sweating on the fitness of the centre-back ahead of the Europa League final next week in Bilbao. Yoro picked up a foot injury during the defeat to West Ham at the weekend and while he will not make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Friday, Amorim has suggested it is too soon to say whether he will fly to the Basque Country.
