Everton have made an approach to sign Kyle Walker-Peters ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Toffees are relaxed ahead of their final two games of the season, as they are placed 13th in the Premier League.
Everton can fully turn their attention towards next season once they bid adieu to Goodison Park when Southampton visit on Sunday, 18 May.
David Moyes is in for a big summer of change, with 13 first-team players running out of their contracts at the end of the season, meaning several players are expected to move in and out of the Merseyside-based club.

Everton contact Walker-Peters over free transfer
Therefore, Everton could use Sunday’s game against Southampton to take another look at one of their targets for the summer – Walker-Peters.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Everton were credited with an interest in signing the right-back in the winter transfer window, but the Saints were holding out for £7million at the time.
With Walker-Peters set to leave St. Mary’s when his contract expires at the end of the season, the Toffees appear to have rekindled their interest.

Walker-Peters’ record for Southampton this season.
The Goodison Park outfit have contacted the former Tottenham ace over joining them on a free transfer, according to Graeme Bailey.
However, Leeds United, West Ham and Tottenham are also in the mix for the 28-year-old, who is attracting interest from abroad as well.
“I’m told no decision just yet”, Bailey told Leeds United News (14 May).
“Leeds have had contact, but as we know, they’re one of many clubs to be in touch with him. West Ham, Spurs, Everton… there’s loads.
“And some foreign clubs are lurking too. Can Leeds get him? Of course. But from what I can make out, it’s going to be tough.”

Moyes to welcome Walker-Peters with open arms
Walker-Peters has had a nightmare of a season with Southampton, who have become one of the worst Premier League teams of all time.
The Saints are placed bottom of the table with 12 points from 36 games and have been confirmed to be relegated for quite a while.
Nevertheless, Walker-Peters could be a valuable addition to several top flight clubs, including Everton, due to his experience and versatility.
The Englishman is comfortable operating both as a right-back and a left-back, making him an attractive option to Moyes.
