UEFA Europa League final tickets insane price

Manchester United’s season has come down to one crucial night in Bilbao.

Ruben Amorim’s side are gearing up to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final on May 21 — a clash that could define the club’s immediate future, with Champions League qualification hanging in the balance.

Despite a nightmare domestic campaign that sees United sitting 16th in the league, there’s still hope of ending the season with a European trophy.

The Red Devils have already begun preparations for the final, which will be played at the Estadio de San Mames, a stadium with just over 53,000 seats.

But not every supporter is focused on the action — many are simply struggling to find a way in.

Outrage has erupted across social media and supporter groups after it emerged that tickets for the Europa League final are being listed for as much as £23,000 — and the resale site at the centre of it all is partly owned by none other than Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly, as per The Daily Mail.

Vivid Seats, a resale platform in which Boehly owns a 41% stake via his company Eldridge Industries, is advertising ‘prime’ halfway-line tickets for a staggering £22,738.

According to football finance expert Kieran Maguire, even Category One tickets are being flogged for over £17,000, while other listings are priced around the £4,000 mark.

This comes as both United and Spurs fans have only been allocated around 15,000 tickets each, with the remaining seats handed to sponsors, partners, and neutral allocations.

With desperation kicking in, some supporters have turned to resale sites — only to find prices that have left them furious.

The Chelsea Supporters Trust previously raised serious concerns about Boehly’s involvement in the platform, calling it a “conflict of interest” and an “inappropriate connection.”

They wrote to the Premier League in March, claiming Boehly’s ties to Vivid Seats “significantly undermine efforts to combat ticket touting.”

United fans have since echoed those frustrations, with one saying: “Everything wrong with top-level football right there.”

Another simply called it: “Disgusting.”

As thousands of tickets remain on the resale site, the backlash is only growing.
