This is one of those transfers that looks like a no-brainer to everyone involved. The player is keen, the fee is superb and offers tremendous value, and there’s a positional need for him. I would say get it done, Dick Hughes, but it looks like he’s already ahead of me. Salah’s new right-flank running mate may just give opposing defences another huge headache to deal with.
