Nottingham Forest are drawing up a list of targets ready for the transfer window opening at the start of June.
Nottingham Forest will be playing some form of European football next season, so the club are under no illusion that Nuno Espirito Santo will need a much bigger squad.
Work is already being carried out on a number of targets, with Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap of serious interest to Forest.
Manchester City playmaker James McAtee is also being linked to the City Ground, with the Tricky Trees leading Leeds United in the race to sign him.
Now, a fresh rumour has just emerged, this time linking Forest to a former Manchester United midfielder.

Nottingham Forest interested in Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira
Nottingham Forest have been admirers of Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira for some time and the Brazilian even admitted that he received an offer from the East Midlanders.
Speaking in an interview last year, Pereira said: “In the last days (of the transfer window) there was also (an offer) Nottingham Forest. Those were the clubs that came closest to signing me, but there was a lot of interest.
“Since I was on vacation, I was in more contact with him (his agent, Bertolucci). But he always lets me know, he tells me: ‘Look, there are clubs interested, let’s see what happens’.”

Now, according to TNT Brasil, Forest are reigniting their interest in Pereira ahead of the summer transfer window.
French giants Marseille are also keen, with Roberto De Zerbi a big fan of the former Manchester United man.
Pereira price tag
Fulham wanted around £30m to sanction Pereira’s sale last summer, but that asking price will surely have reduced now.
The 29-year-old, who has been capped by Brazil, is out of contract next summer, so now is the last chance for the Cottagers to cash in on him for a decent fee.
Therefore, Forest hold the negotiating power, so perhaps they’ll test the water with an opening bid of around £10-15m.
Pereira has registered eight goal involvements in 32 Premier League appearances this season, helping Fulham challenge for Europe.
