The Premier League have revealed their Player of the Season shortlist, although the Liverpool squad will not be worrying about that.

As we exclusively revealed this week, the Liverpool squad jetted off to Dubai earlier this week for a collective getaway.

The trip, which will last the entire week, serves a dual purpose: a chance to unwind after a demanding campaign and an official farewell for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Meanwhile, preparations in Liverpool are reaching their final stages for the much-anticipated Premier League trophy parade.

Scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, the parade will begin at 2:30 pm and follow a 15km route starting at Allerton Maze.

The open-top bus will travel northbound along Queens Drive, passing key city landmarks including Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand, before finishing at Blundell Street.

The event, expected to last between three and five hours, is set to draw hundreds of thousands of fans eager to celebrate alongside their heroes.

As one can see, there is plenty happening at Liverpool FC that takes away attention from the Premier League Player of the Season award.

Still, the Premier League have predictably announced that Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch have all been nominated for the award.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Declan Rice, and Chris Wood are also in contention for the accolade.

Both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have the opportunity to claim this honour for a second time in their careers. Salah first secured it in the 2017/18 season, while Van Dijk followed by winning the award in 2018/19.

You can vote HERE for your desired candidate.

Voting for the award is open until 12pm BST on Monday, May 19. The winner will be revealed on May 24.
