THE Cherries development squad are set to host Brentford for the Professional Development League playoff final next week.
The date and time for the final against the Bees has been confirmed, with AFC Bournemouth to get home advantage.
Alan Connell’s side will take on Brentford on Wednesday, May 21, kicking off at 7pm, as they look to secure the playoff crown after winning the South Group of the competition.
To reach this stage, the Cherries beat Burnley 4-3 at Dean Court on Monday night, while Brentford beat Sheffield United 2-1 after extra time.
Bournemouth have won 14 games on the bounce and will be hoping to extend that run next week against the Bees.
