Vitor Pereira has been nominated for an award that has never been won by a Wolves manager.
The Portuguese coach has enjoyed a remarkable time in the Premier League since making the move in December.
When the odds were stacked against him, Pereira guided Wolves to new heights, taking Gary O’Neil’s relegation candidates to fight for more than just survival.
Wolves were 19th when Pereira took charge, and now, the Old Gold are in the mix for a 13th-place finish, with the future looking bright under the boss.

MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves will be delighted to learn that Pereira made the five-man shortlist, alongside Nuno Espirito Santo, Arne Slot, Eddie Howe and Thomas Frank.
Pereira could become the first Wolves boss to win Manager of the Season
The former Al-Shabab coach has become accustomed to winning awards, as recently, Pereira was named Manager of the Month for April.
It was the first time that a Wolves manager had won the prize since Bruno Lage did in 2022, and now, Pereira could write his name into Premier League history.
No manager of Wolves has ever been crowned Premier League Manager of the Season, even Nuno, who secured back-to-back seventh-place finishes in the Old Gold’s opening two campaigns after promotion.
It would be a remarkable feat to see Pereira win the prize, which he deserves, given the impact he’s made over the past five months, in what has been a debut campaign worthy of dreams for the coach.
