[Liverpool](https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/) are your 2024-25 Premier League champions, with the club securing their 20th domestic league title with a month to spare and climbing back up on their perch as the most successful side in the history of English football.
It’s hardly a surprise, then, to find Liverpool players dominating the finalist list for Player of the Season honours, with three of the eight shortlisted players including heavy favourite Mohamed Salah as well as Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch making the cut.
Gravenberch is also nominated as the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season, and as the only player in that category in the mix for Player of the Season honours the Liverpool midfielder has to be counted as favourite in that category.
Along with Salah, Van Dijk, and Gravenberch the nominees for the top player prize are Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood of Nottingham Forest, Alexander Isak of [Newcastle](https://cominghomenewcastle.sbnation.com), Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, and Decland Rice of Arsenal.
In the young player category, Gravenberch is joined by Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga, Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, Brighton’s Joao Pedro, Arsenal’s William Saliba, and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.
Liverpool are well represented and Salah, whose 28 goals and 18 assists mark a historic Premier League season, is heavy favourite for top honours, there’s a case Alexis Mac Allister can count himself unlucky not being in the mix.
