Leeds United are reportedly prioritising a move for an attacker in the summer transfer window.

The Whites have secured promotion to the Premier League and aim to avoid relegation in the 2025/26 season.

Despite Joel Piroe winning the Golden Boot this season, the Elland Road outfit are still eyeing more goal scorers.

Along with them, Leeds and Ipswich are also keen and are ready to table a bid for the forward.

Geubbels honed his skills at Olympique Lyon’s academy before transferring to AS Monaco in 2018 at age 16 for a hefty £17.2million.

Hailed as France’s next big talent, he struggled to secure a regular spot at the Ligue 1 club.

In January 2023, he moved to St. Gallen on a free transfer, where he finally made his mark.

Now, having found his form in Switzerland, Geubbels is eager to return to one of Europe’s top five leagues to continue his career ascent.

Guebbels could be a vital addition at Elland Road

Leeds could significantly benefit from signing Geubbels, whose youthful potential and recent resurgence make him a shrewd addition to their squad.

At 23, the former AS Monaco prodigy has regained form at FC St. Gallen, showcasing his pace, technical ability and versatility across the forward line. His experience in Ligue 1 and Swiss Super League adds maturity to Leeds’ attack, complementing their high-pressing style under Daniel Farke.

Geubbels’ hunger to prove himself in a top-five league aligns with Leeds’ ambition to climb the Premier League table.

His low-cost acquisition represents a high-reward opportunity, offering depth and flair to challenge defences while developing alongside Leeds’ young core.
