Image shows Goodison Park as home of Everton Women

Everton FC have unveiled a conceptual image of what Goodison Park will look like on a matchday as the home of Everton Women.

Earlier this week, the club revealed that the stadium would be retained for the women's team, who will relocate for the start of the 2025/26 season.

The move addresses Everton Women's rapid growth and need for a larger, more suitable venue than Walton Hall Park.

Phase one of the transition includes stadium upgrades to enhance the matchday experience and ensure adequate facilities are in place before the start of the season.

Walton Hall Park will continue to serve grassroots, community, and development programmes for women's and girls' football.

Everton owner The Friedkin Group decided to keep the stadium following a review of the Goodison Legacy project, which initially included the demolition of the site and transformation into a mixed use development.

The plans for the Legacy project in its current form have been scrapped, but additional reviews will be conducted moving forward.
