Leicester City fans are preparing for the end of an era as Jamie Vardy's time at the club is set to come to a close at the end of the season. Vardy has already announced his plans to depart the King Power Stadium, shortly after apologising for a disappointing season which saw the former Premier League champions relegated from the top flight for the second time in three years.
The Englishman has stated his intentions to continue his career into his forties, with rumours of a potential move to the MLS and other English clubs growing after he revealed he would leave Leicester. And despite the fact there are still two more Premier League games left of the season, it is expected that the 38-year-old will not feature at all in the final-day clash with Bournemouth, with the reason why being revealed.

Vardy to Play Last Game At Leicester's Stadium
The striker will make his 500th appearance for the club
According to a report from The Guardian, Vardy's final match for the club will take place this weekend when Ruud van Nistelrooy's side host Ipswich Town. This will mark the veteran's 500th appearance for the club, and it is believed that he is happy finishing his time at the club with his last game being in front of a packed house of Leicester supporters.
It is claimed that the club plan to make the game a big deal for the player, with other members of the shock 2015/16 Premier League champions squad set to be in attendance. Special flags and souvenirs will also be handed to supporters to form a pre-game display, while the captain is set to address the crowd and share his gratitude.
While it promises to be a perfect send-off for the ex-England international, it means that his aims of reaching 200 goals for the club rest solely on Sunday's fixture. Vardy currently sits on 199 strikes, and the pressure will be on for him to achieve a double century against a side who have also been relegated to the Championship.
