Scottie Pippen’s Ex-Wife, Larsa, Admits Relationship Mistake

Larsa Pippen has admitted that at least one of her relationships with a current NBA player was "a mistake."

Pippen, 50, the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and mother of current Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr., briefly dated Detroit Pistons shooting guard Malik Beasley, 28, back in 2020. At the time, Beasley was still married to beauty queen Montana Yao.

After a brief affair, Beasley and Pippen split, and he reconciled with Yao. The two remained together until March of this year, when they filed for divorce.

As for Pippen, she said on a new episode of "The Jason Lee Show" that her fling with Beasley was a failure in judgment.

"I should have listened to you," she told Lee, who said he warned the Bravo TV star not to get involved with the much-younger hooper.

"That was a mistake," Pippen said. "But I had COVID brain."

"I just had COVID. I was stuck in my house, I hadn't gone anywhere. He was there. He was like, on me," she added.

Making the situation more awkward down the road was the fact Beasley and Pippen's son were teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2022-23 season.

"They had a conversation when they were on the same team and it was fine," Larsa said. "It wasn't like we had a really bad breakup or anything. But at the same time, who am I supposed to date? The landscaper?"

Eventually, Pippen moved on to a high-profile relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of her ex-husband's legendary Bulls teammate Michael Jordan. The two were together from 2022 to 2024.

Currently, Pippen is dating another professional basketball player, 31-year-old Jeff Coby, who played collegiately at Columbia University before embarking on a career overseas in Luxembourg, Japan, Spain and elsewhere.
