Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford is not expected to play 90 minutes again this season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it is a serious thigh setback, so the Villans will have to be careful with how they handle his recovery.
The on-loan Manchester United winger has impressed at Villa Park but has not featured since he last played on 22 April, against Manchester City, when he scored a goal.

Rashford likely to only get minutes off the bench
It’s understood that if Rashford is to return this season, he will only get minutes off the bench and not a start.
He does appear to be on the cusp of returning to full first-team training, but his fitness is not at a level where he’s ready to return to senior football.

Rashford has found his feet again at Aston Villa.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “He has been out with a pretty serious thigh injury.

“Based on what Emery said, he may be on the cusp of returning to full training.
“If so, imagine he will get bounce minutes first but only two matches left, so not much room for margin here.

Aston Villa must sign Rashford permanently
It’s evident that a change of scene for the England international worked as he’s looked a completely different player in Birmingham to the one he was in Manchester.
He has been given the freedom to take risks, make mistakes and does not have the fanbase judging everything he does.
Emery has also managed to get a tune out of him and he’s thrived with the other attack-minded players at Villa.
It remains to be seen if they have the financial capability to meet United’s demands to sign him permanently.
Fans would certainly want a striker of his calibre at the club, but he’s got to fit into their wage structure, otherwise it could be counterproductive.
