Manchester United duo Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu have made their feelings clear on Reds-linked striker Victor Osimhen.
Ruben Amorim's squad are in dire need of a new forward this summer, and Osimhen could be the perfect candidate. It was reported last summer that his loan agreement with Galatasaray from Napoli included a break clause, allowing him to change clubs during the January transfer window.
However, no move materialised at that time and he has stayed on loan in the Turkish Super Lig, where he has continued to rack up the goals. The Nigerian has scored 35 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
And both Zirkzee and Dorgu have since liked Osimhen's most recent post on Instagram which shows him lifting the Turkish Cup, won by Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
Alongside long-standing interest from Premier League clubs, Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the mix. However, The Athletic report that his salary could be a significant obstacle to United striking up a deal.
There are also doubts about whether he fits the profile that Amorim is seeking for his squad. The Manchester Evening News understands United are prioritising deals for Wolves' Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this summer.
Previously speaking about his future, he said: "A decision will be made at the end of the season about what will be best for everyone. Galatasaray will forever be in my heart.
"There are always rumours about me, of course, but I prefer to live in the moment.
"I am enjoying myself right now; I am enjoying both the club and my life here. The fans have also been incredibly supportive since the first day."
