The Minnesota Timberwolves eliminated the Golden State Warriors in five games of their second-round playoff series. Minnesota was able to close out Golden State at home, ending the series with a four-game win streak.

Much of this series has been made about the hamstring injury to Warriors star guard Stephen Curry. Curry was injured in Game 1 and never returned to the court.
Minnesota was able to take advantage, and they used that to knock the Warriors out. But after the final game between the two sides, the Timberwolves' social media account trolled the Warriors and Curry.
Using Curry's famous "night night" celebration, the Timberwolves' social media mocked the Warriors. Showing star Anthony Edwards alongside Curry, Minnesota had some fun with Golden State.
This seemed to be all in good fun, and it was Minnesota showing off after a playoff series win. Edwards and Curry have massive respect for one another, having won a gold medal at the Olympics this past summer.
The Timberwolves will now await the winner between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets. Oklahoma City leads the series 3-2 as the two teams get ready for a crucial Game 6 matchup.

But the Timberwolves will enter the series very confident against either side. Minnesota has shown a lot of poise during the postseason this year, and it has helped them get back to the Western Conference Finals.
Minnesota reached the Western Conference Finals a year ago, but fell short against the Dallas Mavericks in five games. The Timberwolves will now be looking for some redemption this time around, and the team has massive belief in itself.

The Timberwolves have made quick work of both the Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers in the postseason. Minnesota has played a combined 10 playoff games this year, so they should be fairly fresh entering the conference finals.
Minnesota will now wait for the next challenge, and this team seems ready for anything that comes in front of them.
