Everton play host to Southampton in their penultimate game of the Premier League season.
David Moyes‘ side have nothing left to play for this season, though their progression under the Scotsman has been cause for concern ahead of the new campaign.
With Southampton already relegated, and statistically one of the worst sides in Premier League history, this clash presents the Toffees with an excellent chance to end their Goodison Park stay on a high.

Preview
Off the back of a 3-1 victory against Fulham, Everton will have some momentum to take into the clash with the Saints, though it’s unlikely to be needed.
Southampton have failed to win a single game since their triumph over Ipswich back in February, though their goalless draw against Man City did see them earn some plaudits.

Quite remarkably, 30 points separate the two sides ahead of the game, with Southampton only marginally beating the record set by Derby County for the lowest points tally in Premier League history.

Team news
Everton will once again be without the trio of Orel Mangala, Jesper Lindstrom and James Tarkowski, with all three ruled out of action until the end of the campaign at the very least.
Jake O’Brien missed the win against Fulham with a knock, though he could return in time for this encounter at Goodison Park.
