Graham Potter is set for a busy summer transfer window at West Ham.
It has been a difficult season in East London, and with transfer movement limited in the winter window, this is Potter’s chance to prove himself.
There is plenty that has to be done to change the direction that the Hammers find themselves going, so it comes as no surprise that work is already getting underway at the London Stadium.

West Ham prepare Mario Stroeykens transfer
Although the entire team needs reinforcements, one area in particular where Potter will be focusing is in the final third, having had torrid luck this term.
Long-term injuries struck Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug throughout much of the campaign, and with Jarrod Bowen also out at one point, there were few places to turn.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Evan Ferguson was brought in at West Ham during the winter transfer window, but the Brighton forward has failed to show any positive signs, meaning his loan is unlikely to turn into a permanent deal.
One man who has been on the radar as a potential replacement, though, is Mario Stroeykens, currently of Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old has been a regular in the Belgian side this term, contributing to his side’s efforts, and the Irons have upped their interest, it seems.

Stroeykens is a target for West Ham.
According to DH Net (15 May), West Ham have now made contact over a deal for the attacker.
It’s not yet known whether that approach has been made to the club, player or representatives, with the likes of Marseille and Frankfurt also credited with interest.
With those two set for Champions League football, it could be a real battle.

Potter ready for summer transformation
Supporters will be hoping for plenty of change at West Ham during the summer transfer window, and the boss is seemingly hard at work to provide that.
David Sullivan is set to work closely with Potter and Kyle McCaulay to bring new faces to the London Stadium, meaning it should be a coherent plan that comes together.
Potter is well known for the work he does with young players, and therefore, bringing someone like Stroeykens to West Ham could be a great move, as he could be developed rapidly going forward.
The expectations will be high once the new campaign is underway and if the current man at the helm doesn’t quickly prove himself, supporters will make their disappointment known.
