Tottenham Are Terrible – So Why Am I Still Nervous?

I must sound like a broken record, because here I am again saying it, this is another must-win game. If we’re serious about finishing fifth and sneaking into the Champions League, we can’t afford to slip up—not now, not at home.

Villa Park will be electric under the lights tomorrow night, and rightly so. The occasion demands it. Tottenham looks like a side that’s lost its way. They’ve been well off the pace in the league this season, and while there’s always danger in underestimating any terrible team, let’s be honest—this is a golden opportunity for us.

I know you shouldn’t count your chickens, but this should be a guaranteed three points. Yes, I know: there are no guarantees in life. But if we want to mix it with the best next season, these are the nights we have to take care of business.

So, tomorrow night is about staying focused and finishing strong. Spurs may be struggling in the league, but reaching the Europa League final shows they’re still capable of turning it on when it matters. That makes them dangerous—but it also makes three points here even more important. UTV
