This marks Durant’s second time receiving the Magic Johnson Award, having first earned the honor during the 2010-11 season while playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Following Durant’s second win, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson himself praised the star forward, expressing admiration and wishing Durant were part of the Lakers organization.
