The Milwaukee Bucks are going to pick late in the second round of the 2025 draft and one name being linked to the Wisconsin organization is Chinese big man Hansen Yang.

The 7’2 center is relatively unknown in America but he’s letting the people know who he really is. He was just named among the risers in the recent NFL combine.

His highlights also show him playing like the prototype of these days big men – one that can pass, shoot outside, set up plays, and play defense.

One issue about him though is the language barrier. However, he is trying his best to get acclimated to international basketball.
“He really feels happiness here,” Yang’s interpreter Chris Liu told reporters.
“And then, he’s really willing to compete with everyone and against everyone. He really enjoyed that.”
Why Milwaukee Bucks should draft him?
The Bucks will pick 47th in June draft and Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman said Yang will be a good selection for them.
Averaging 21.0 points and 11.3 boards in the CBA since March 19, Hansen Yang is putting himself in the conversation this year, especially with NIL offers expected to bring a number of draftable prospects back to college.
Though slower moving and lacking explosion, he’s developed a high skill level and feel with his footwork and touch shots from the post. Seventeen made threes make him even more intriguing for a 7’1″ 19-year-old averaging 2.7 blocks.
It would be interesting for the Bucks to pick Yang as he is more of a project now.

The team are reportedly looking to trade Brook Lopez as they need a revitalized frontline after the NBA veteran flopped and became unplayable in the postseason.
