Milwaukee Bucks might need to check if they can still get something out of Brook Lopez, whether as their player or via trade as another team in the Western Conference is urged to sign the veteran big man.

The Golden State Warriors were without Stephen Curry in virtually all of the second round playoffs and for that, they easily bowed to the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, his absence is not the one being blamed for the defeat.
Analysts think it was their lack of big men. Gui Santos was inexperienced. Draymond Green was undersized. Kevon Looney was limited. Basically, all of them failed to hold it against Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle.
Kendrick Perkins pointed out that the trend these days is having dual threat big in the line-up.
“I think they’re missing a big, right now,” Perkins explained. “They need a guy who is going to go out there and get 15 points and 12 rebounds per night.

“Think about all the teams that are still playing right now. The Knicks have Karl-Anthony Towns. Indiana have Myles Turner. Obviously, Denver have Jokic. OKC have Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren.”
Brook Lopez is a viable hire for Warriors
NBA reporter Bobby Marks responded by saying that Warriors should look at Lopez at the Bucks.
“One player to keep an eye on regarding that center position is Brook Lopez,” Marks said. “Stamford grad, makes his home in Fresno. What is the number on a one-year flyer here to patch up that center position.
“The center market is thin. You look at Myles Turner, you’re probably not going to afford him, the next best guy out there is Brook Lopez.”

Right now, it is hard to know what the Bucks are thinking. The Bucks front office remains silent although the way things ended for Lopez last season, it would not be surprising if he finds himself in another uniform.
