Liverpool to press on with Frimpong06:29
The summer's transfer window will take centre stage once the Premier League ends next weekend. A number of top clubs are prepping to hit the ground running as they look to get their business done early.
Arsenal have missed out on the title and have not yet wrapped up second place - their focus will be on adding more firepower as their lack of a striker continues to hamper them. Viktor Gyokeres is firmly on their radar following several stellar years in Sporting Lisbon.
Liverpool need to replace the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold with Jeremie Frimpong very much on their radar. Manchester United's business will be determined by whether or not they're in the Champions League.
We could also see movement in the dugout as Jose Mourinho is linked with a Premier League return.

Zubimendi issues emerge at Arsenal
Doubts are starting to emerge that Arsenal can wrap up a deal for Martin Zubimendi. It appeared earlier this week that the midfielder was on the verge of completing a move to the Gunners.
But according to AS, Zubimendi is yet to officially sign a contract with Mikel Arteta's men. That has opened the door to Real Madrid, who are now looking to steal in under Arsenal's noses. Madrid hope the impending arrival of new boss Xabi Alonso can convince Zubimendi to move to the Bernabeu instead.

Liverpool to press on with Frimpong
Liverpool will trigger Jeremie Frimpong's £30m release clause to make the former Manchester City youngster their first summer signing with the Anfield hierarchy poised to approach Bayer Leverkusen imminently.
Frimpong, 24, has emerged as the standout candidate to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold next season with the Reds right-back poised to complete a free transfer to Real Madrid.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League is understood to appeal to Frimpong, whose camp have already held talks over personal terms with Liverpool.

Rashford's £40m value
Marcus Rashford believes Man United would be willing to sell him for £40m to anyone this summer - not just Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old moved to Villa Park several months ago in a loan deal that included a £40m option-to-buy clause, but that figure could be enough to tempt those at Old Trafford, regardless of who pays it.
The clause does not prevent another outfit signing the forward, who has got closer to his best form since leaving Manchester.

Arsenal's striker plan
Arsenal's extensive search for a new striker for the 2025-26 campaign will see them make a move for either Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Gunners were hit by injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus during the second half of the season as their Premier League title bid wilted and, after opting to keep their powder dry in January, they are now prepared to spend big on a new No.9 to bolster Mikel Arteta's options in attack.
A host of names have been linked with a move to The Emirates in recent months - and it now seems as though Arsenal's striker search has been narrowed down to two possible options.
