Jamal Murray battled flu symptoms, received IVs, and still put up 25 points to lead the Nuggets to a Game 6 win vs. OKC, saying afterward, "Everything was kind of bothering me."
Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray was listed on the injury report ahead of a crucial Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to an illness. But despite battling the flu, the Canadian guard suited up and delivered when it mattered most.

Murray played 42 grueling minutes and finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in the 119-107 win at home.
Was there ever a doubt he'd play?
"No, I woke up feeling it, went to the clinic, and got tested for a couple of different things. It was negative, so I'm happy about that," Murray said in the post-game conference. "But I was always gonna play in my mind. I'm glad we got the win and gave ourselves some life and a chance to win the series."
Murray then revealed he was dealing with a lot.
"I mean, everything was kind of bothering me," he said. "When the game starts, the team needs you, adrenaline kicks in, and see a couple of shots go in or whatever, just kinda suck it up and then get through it."
Interim head coach David Adelman mentioned Murray received IVs and medication throughout game day and even had trouble breathing during the game.
Murray will now have a couple of days to recover before Game 7, set for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. EST. The winner will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
However, Denver has a new concern—Aaron Gordon suffered a hamstring injury late in Game 6, and the early signs are troubling.
