The Friedkin Group continue to impress since buying Everton from Farhad Moshiri in December.
Everton are poised to strengthen their squad significantly in the Friedkins’ first summer transfer window as their owners, especially as 13 first-team players are running out of their contracts at the end of the season.
Things are also looking positive behind the scenes, with Angus Kinnear arriving from Leeds United as the new CEO.
The Friedkin Group have made it clear that they intend to improve the Toffees across the board, with the women’s team also firmly in their thoughts.
That is why they have decided to make Goodison Park the new home of Everton Women when the men’s team move to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium next season.

Phil McNulty reveals Goodison Park plans under TFG
Phil McNulty has now shed light on how the Moshiri regime wanted to demolish Goodison Park to make way for a renovation project before the Friedkins came in.
Providing insight into TFG’s plans moving forward, the BBC chief writer revealed that they intend to reduce the capacity of the stadium ahead of the women’s team moving in.
He added that the Everton Women branding will be installed, while games will also have a more ‘intimate’ feeling.
“I think the original player under previous owners was that it was going to be sort of a renovation project on the Goodison site, which was going to include housing, a care home, retail units, etc”, McNulty said on BBC 5 Live Breakfast (16 May, 7:22 am).
“But, the new owners, The Friedkin Group, have decided to make it the home for the women’s team.
“They will reduce the capacity, but it will have the usual Everton Women’s branding, and it will have a slightly more intimate feel when the women play there.
“But, it is a great use for women’s football and for the women’s team as Everton that they are going to continue playing at the historic stadium.”

Friedkin taking no prisoners at Everton
It is refreshing to see the owners of a club also take the women’s team seriously.
The Friedkins are said to have gathered Everton Women during their visit to Finch Farm in January to explain their vision for the future.

It is evident that they are also acting on their promises, having made Goodison Park the women’s team’s new home.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that they have parted ways with Everton Women CEO Alan McTavish despite him being a popular figure at the Merseyside-based club.
This is said to be a testament to Friedkin’ ruthless approach of ‘not taking any prisoners’.
