Manchester United’s season has taken a dramatic turn under Ruben Amorim, who has not been afraid to back youth in his bold rebuild.
The Reds have surged into the Europa League final, thanks in large part to a revitalised team spirit and fresh tactical identity.
Amorim’s impact has been especially evident in the trust he’s placed in academy players.

Now, two more Carrington talents have taken major steps towards joining them at the top table of United’s first team.
While transfer chatter continues to swirl around Old Trafford, the spotlight is now firmly on two emerging heroes who have just been crowned for their standout contributions.
Harry Amass and Tyler Fredricson have been recognised as the top performers in Manchester United’s academy ranks.
Harry Amass, just 18, was named Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year after a sensational breakthrough campaign.
Having joined from Watford, he starred in United’s Under-18 treble-winning side and made his senior debut under Amorim, starting four of the club’s last five Premier League fixtures.
Nick Cox, United’s Academy Director, lauded Amass’s maturity and adaptability, saying: “Harry has shown an ability to adapt, settle into a new environment and progress as a person and a player.”

Amass featured in every tier of United’s youth system this season, from FA Youth Cup outings to UEFA Youth League appearances in the Netherlands and at Old Trafford, before stepping up to the Premier League.
His rise mirrors that of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho in previous seasons, and he’ll be eyeing a place in the squad for the Europa League final against Spurs in Bilbao on May 21.
Meanwhile, Tyler Fredricson has scooped the Denzil Haroun Reserve-Team Player of the Year after a comeback campaign defined by resilience.
The 20-year-old centre-back has finally emerged into first-team reckoning after injuries stalled his progress for two years.
Amorim handed him two league starts, rewarding his intelligence and composure at the back — traits his academy coaches have long admired.
Cox added: “Tyler has shown fantastic qualities of perseverance, determination and patience to earn first-team opportunities this season.”
Both players will be pushing to feature again in United’s remaining matches, with Amorim clearly valuing youth and potential as key pillars in his Old Trafford project.
