Former Newcastle United man one of eight players released by Championship club

Derby County have officially announced their retained list following the end of the Championship season.

The Rams pulled off a great escape under John Eustace after Derby made the decision to sack Paul Warne earlier in the year

As they prepare for another year in the Championship, there’s already preparations behind the scenes as Derby line up a move for Kamil Conteh – who once compared himself to Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.

News of a move for Conteh explains why the Rams have released one star who only joined the club two months ago.
