Larry Nance Jr has relished the opportunity of watching his beloved Leeds United in the Championship this season.
The NBA star is a minority investor in the newly promoted Yorkshire club and has been spotted at Elland Road on several occasions.
With Leeds primed for a return to the Premier League, the 6-foot-8-inch athlete has made an astounding claim over his investment.

Leeds are set for more investment ahead of the next Premier League season and will receive a £100million boost.
The Elland Road club will need to spend that money wisely if they are to retain their top-flight status at the first attempt.

However, it is not certain that the Yorkshire club will spend all of that money and could take a more pragmatic approach.
Ipswich Town and Southampton spent over £100m last summer, and they have been way off the pace in the bottom three.
Club Total spend (summer 2024)
Chelsea £219.6million
Manchester United £205.9million
Brighton & Hove Albion £192million
Tottenham Hotspur £133.5million
West Ham United £132.5million
Aston Villa £129.5million
Ipswich Town £124million
Southampton £108.3million

Nonetheless, Nottingham Forest’s strategy of spending big has paid off, having narrowly avoided relegation on their Premier League return.
Larry Nance Jr has invested significant money into the Elland Road club over the years and has spoken out on his investment.
“If I can be 100 per cent honest with you, I hope I never see my investment in Leeds United ever again,” he told The Athletic (15 May).
“If it triples, if it doubles, if it quadruples, I hope I never see that money again. Which means I just get to stay with my chunk and be a part of this historic club that I’ve fallen in love with.”

Leeds must pursue Manor Solomon deal
If Leeds are to survive at the first attempt, then they will need their star players in form next season.
One of those players is Manor Solomon, who has thrived during his season-long loan in the Championship.
Unfortunately, the winger will return to his parent club, Tottenham Hotspur, when his deal expires this summer.
Leeds are understood to be keen on a return for the Israeli international, but will face fierce competition for his services.
Solomon has 22 goal contributions in the league this season and has been integral to the Yorkshire club’s success.
The former Fulham man has always shown promise, and it has been a pleasure to watch him perform after his significant knee injury.
Whether Leeds can land him is unknown, but acquiring him would get the ball rolling in what is a key summer.
