Hello everyone, Joe Thomas here at Finch Farm on another lovely, warm, sunny day. The parking stewards have earned some impressive tans during this spell of good weather and I am pleased for them because this place feels the chill during winter and spring!
I was the first reporter here today, meaning I was the first to sign in. Tell you what, it felt like winning a leg on Race Across the World putting the first ink on that sheet!
I've been followed in by a few others now - the BBC, Guardian, Liverpool World all now with me and, while there is likely to be a smaller press contingent given this clashes with the Liverpool press conference, I'm sure more will follow.
