£50M Loss as West Ham Shareholders Climb Rich List

West Ham shareholder [David Sullivan](https://www.claretandhugh.info/david-sullivan-bio/) and his family have dropped £50m in the [Sunday Times Rich List](https://www.thetimes.com/sunday-times-rich-list) with a net wealth now estimated at £1.118 billion.

Despite his drop in net wealth his rose from 150th to 143rd richest persons on the list.

Fellow West Ham shareholder Daniel Krenitsky rose 11 places from 33rd to 22nd in the list with a fortune estimated to be £7.79 billion up £1.79 billion

Estimates of Krenitsky’s wealth vary with the Czech Republic version of the Financial Times claiming his real wealth is around £13 billion   while Forbes values him at $9.6B (£7.2bn)

The 76-page special edition of _The Sunday Times Magazine_ reveals the largest fall in the billionaire count in the guide’s 37-year history, from a peak of 177 in 2022 to 156 this year. The number of billionaires has dropped for three successive years.  This year’s list of 350 individuals and families together hold combined wealth of £772.8bn – 3 per cent down on last year.

Other West Ham shareholders do not make the list of the richest 350 people connected to the UK.

Recent public probate records reveal that former West Ham joint-chairman David Gold left an estate worth £137,421,336 gross or £127,529,095 net to his family in trust.
