Yohan Cabaye pinpoints what Crystal Palace need to do to overcome Man City in FA Cup Final

Crystal Palace head into this weekend's FA Cup Final looking to finally land their first-ever major piece of silverware, as they take on Manchester City at Wembley.

The Eagles have twice been runners-up in the competition, but this could be their best chance of finally etching their name on the famous trophy.

Pep Guardiola's City haven't been at their imperious best this season, but it will still be a massive challenge for Oliver Glasner and his team to overcome.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN News, courtesy of listofsweepstakescasinos.com, former Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye has outlined what his old club needs to do to get the better of the seven-time FA Cup winners.

"In my view, they will need to be tactically disciplined, they will have to be really compact defensively against Manchester City.

"They will have to take every chance they get, because City are a really strong side, a really talented team.

"But Crystal Palace have shown that they can cause them problems already in the league this season, so they have a chance."

If the South London side are to turn over the Citizens, Ebere Eze is most likely to have had something to do with it. The England man set Palace on their way with the opener in the semi-final and is in red-hot form going into Saturday's showpiece.

His form has been so good this season, there's expected to be big interest in the forward this summer, but Cabaye thinks the 26-year-old could still see his future at Selhurst Park.

Adding, "If he’s going to be persuaded to stay, then he will have to believe in the club as a project, and that they are the right place for him to develop and improve.

"There is maybe one more year when there’s room for him to grow as a player at Palace. It’s an environment he knows and enjoys."
