Graham Potter says he wants to end the season on a high - starting with this weekend's penultimate fixture of the season against Nottingham Forest.
The Hammers host the Tricky Trees in Stratford on Sunday afternoon, fresh from a morale-boosting 2-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
And the Head Coach is eyeing back-to-back wins, which could potentially lift the Hammers up to 13th spot in the Premier League - if they can overcome a stuttering Forest side.
"They've had a fantastic season," said Potter when asked to summarise West Ham's opponents. "This time last year they were probably at the opposite of the table, so it's credit to everyone involved. They've recruited well and they're very clear on what they want to do.
"They have high-quality individuals, such as Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White, and you can see why they've got the points they have.
"We've got two games to go and we're focusing on Forest now, which will be a really good last game at home. They'll be a good opponent, but we want to win. Results haven't been good enough, we'll do it to the best of our ability on Sunday and going forward."
And addressing rumours suggesting midfielder Tomas Soucek has been told he can leave West Ham United this summer, Potter spoke effusively about the Czech international.
"He's been a fantastic signing for the club," he said. "He's brilliant in the boxes and chips in with vital goals. He's always 100 per cent, and he's been brilliant to work with."
