Everton announce stadium naming rights deal with Hill Dickenson

Everton have agreed a naming rights deal for the club’s new stadium with the international law firm Hill Dickinson. The move comes after a years-long search for the prestigious opportunity to be the first naming partner for the waterfront landmark and will lead to the ground being named Hill Dickinson Stadium with immediate effect.

Everton did not confirm the scale or length of the contract but described it as a long-term relationship that represents “one of the largest stadium naming rights deals in Europe”.

As part of the move, the company, founded in Liverpool but with offices spanning across Europe and Asia, will also support the life-changing work of the club-linked charity Everton in the Community.

The deal was announced on the eve of the final senior men’s fixture at Goodison Park in 133 years. After the Blues host Southampton on Sunday, attention will move to the transition to the new home at Bramley-Moore Dock in north Liverpool.

The ground has been one of the most significant regeneration schemes in the UK and has brought thousands of jobs to the area. It is hoped it will act as a catalyst for wider development of the northern docklands and Everton owners The Friedkin Group, which completed its takeover in December, is among those exploring what it can do to the land surrounding Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Upon confirmation of the deal, Angus Kinnear, the new Everton chief executive officer, said: “Welcoming Hill Dickinson as our naming rights partner is a bold and strategic step forward.

"This partnership goes beyond branding — it’s a shared commitment to progress, excellence, and the regeneration of our city.

"Hill Dickinson Stadium will stand as a symbol of Everton’s ambitions, our values, and the global future we are building together."

The move will offer a new revenue stream for Everton that will help to drive the club forward and provide an additional boost in terms of the club’s compliance with Premier League spending regulations.

It will also see the stadium become an all-year-round attraction, with plans to hold concerts and international sporting events, including the Rugby League Ashes series and Euro 2028.

Craig Scott, chief executive officer of Hill Dickinson, said: “To put our name to Everton’s new stadium is a once-in-a-generation opportunity.

"We believe deeply in what this project stands for — a bold, transformational vision for Liverpool and its future.

“This partnership is about legacy, ambition, and the power of two globally recognised organisations coming together to make a difference.

“As Hill Dickinson continues to grow internationally, we remain proud of our Liverpool roots — and we are honoured to be part of one of the most exciting waterfront developments in Europe."
