Over the years, many players have come and gone through Manchester United.
Not just in the senior ranks but also throughout the academy setup.
While some have made it to the top and carved out successful first-team careers, many others have fallen short of expectations at Old Trafford.

Accrington Stanley have officially confirmed their retained list at the end of the 2024/25 season – and one player will now return to Manchester United.
The League Two side announced a number of contract decisions via their club website.
They listed multiple players leaving and several others entering talks over new terms.
Sonny Aljofree to return to Manchester United after loan spell
Among those heading back to their parent clubs is Sonny Aljofree, who spent the campaign on loan from Old Trafford.
Aljofree, 20, joined Accrington Stanley on a season-long loan deal last August in search of regular senior football.
The move marked his second loan spell after a stint at Altrincham, and came shortly after he signed a new contract with Manchester United.
A regular for United’s Under-21s and highly regarded within the club, the centre-back was seen as a coup for Accrington at the time.

While the club’s official retained list didn’t provide specifics on Aljofree’s performances, it confirmed he is one of four loanees.
Along with Billy Crellin, Jake Batty, and Joe O’Brien-Whitmarsh, who will now return to their parent sides.
Accrington have thanked all departing players for their contributions during the season.
As for Aljofree, he returns to Carrington ahead of a crucial summer, hoping to build on the senior experience he gained in League Two and stake a claim for future opportunities at Manchester United.
