Crystal Palace v City: Guardiola shares latest team news](https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/fa-cup-final-crystal-palace-v-manchester-city-pep-guardiola-injury-update-63882997)

And this year City will be battling with Crystal Palace at Wembley to lay claim to the prestigious FA Cup trophy.

Pep Guardiola’s side lock horns with the Eagles this Saturday at 16:30 (UK) in what represents our third successive appearance at this stage of the tournament after reaching the final in 2023 and 2024.

If our previous Premier League meetings with Oliver Glasner’s team are anything to go by, we’re set for an enthralling occasion in the capital this weekend.

The teams firstly played out a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in December before we came from two goals down to record a dramatic 5-2 win at the Etihad Stadium in April.

City’s FA Cup triumph, the first of seven across our illustrious history, in 1904 was also the Club’s maiden major honour.

But, as we’re already well aware of, Crystal Palace will provide a tough challenge at Wembley as they aim to triumph in the competition for the first time.
