Nuggets Trade Idea Ships 2 Stars to Bucks, Lands Giannis Antetokounmpo To Pair Alongside Nikola …

The Denver Nuggets were able to pick up a crucial victory on Thursday night in Game 6 of their second-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With the victory, Denver was able to keep their season alive and force Game 7 in Oklahoma City on Sunday in a win-or-go-home contest with a spot in the Western Conference Finals on the line.

While Denver prepares for a pivotal matchup on Sunday in Oklahoma City, they also have a crucial offseason ahead of them which could include them making some changes to their roster if they are unable to advance out of the second round.

Of course, the Nuggets first have to find a new general manager after firing Calvin Booth and they will also have to decide if they want to promote David Adelman as their new head coach after he took over from Michael Malone late in the season.

With major changes coming within the organization, Denver might also look to add another star player in the offseason to pair alongside their superstar center Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks may be a player they could chase.

Giannis is reportedly open to leaving Milwaukee this offseason and while the main teams in the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs have been mentioned as trade suitors, one team flying under the radar is the Nuggets.

In a potential offseason blockbuster trade, Denver could send Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon and three first-round picks to Milwaukee in exchange for Giannis.

By making this move, the Nuggets would pair Giannis alongside Jokic, creating one of the deadliest frontcourt duos in the NBA.

Denver would also keep Jamal Murray and other key pieces such as Christian Braun and Peyton Watson on the team while the trade would also allow Milwaukee to stay competitive in the Eastern Conference by adding both Porter Jr. and Gordon.

Despite this, the Nuggets have elected to not try and add another star over the past few seasons and that is unlikely to change this summer but if they were able to pair Giannis and Jokic together, they may become the team to beat for the title next season.
