Steve Kerr Turns Heads With Strong Message on Warriors Future

The Golden State Warriors' season was cut short in the second round of the playoffs.

Golden State entered the playoffs as the No. 7 seed in the West and wound up defeating the Houston Rockets in the first round before losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round.

After the season's end, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke with the media, sharing his thoughts on his future in Golden State.

Kerr didn't give a definitive answer on a potential retirement but mentioned his "year-to-year stamp as the role of head coach with the Warriors.

"At this point, I’m year to year," Kerr said, per Anthony Slater. "I love my job. It’s so much fun. I loved this season. This was a really gratifying year. Challenging the players' commitment to each other. Their ability to get through individual adversity."

Upon the release of the post, in which Steve Kerr explained his future with the Golden State Warriors, some fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

"He’s achieved a lot as a coach, but to definitively take his place among the greats, he needs to win another championship with a different roster. I hope it’s with GS," said one fan.

"Steve Kerr’s contract status sounds like a “last dance” mixtape, but with more three-pointers and less drama. Year to year, but always living in the moment with Curry," said another fan.

"Can Kerr play SG?" mentioned one fan.

"I think we should go for a super team next season just forget the repercussions of the apron 2 year super team and just go all in man," commented one fan.

"When curry retires Dray Will and Kerr," said one fan.

"We gotta get number 5 man," said another fan.
